<aside> ⚠️ If you have installed WSL before, it is possible that you run into issues that I have not documented in this document. In this case it might be easier and quicker to uninstall WSL and start again (if possible of course).

Introduction - The tech stack

The tool and tech stack that we will be setting-up:

• A PC under Windows 11 (it should also work on Win10)
• Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL 2)
• Ubuntu as the Linux distribution
• Visual Studio Code for the code editor and its integrated bash shell
• Ruby as the backend language
• Javascript as the frontend and backend (with NodeJs)
• PostgreSQL as the database
